You see the companies who have million dollar advertising budgets find themselves going negative on each sale that they make. To make up for this deficit, they focus on repeat sales from their existing customers. (This is about the only thing that they get right.)

I want to share with you an advertising source that you can use to have alot of success in your business. Here’s what it is:

– Referrals

This is actually a free marketing technique that not alot of business owners take advantage of. With this technique, it takes almost nothing to cost you (except for the postage for the referral letter), and your customers will be more than happy to refer you to their friends – assuming that you’ve treated them right.

You should even set up a marketing campaign designed to get more free customers walking into your doors. One easy way to do this is via email marketing. Offer free gifts if someone refers one of their friends to your business. You can setup a refer-a-friend script on your website, that will allow people to advertise for you. You just have to set it up with the free incentive, and watch as new customers come into your doors.

Referrals are extremely effective, and I think it’s one thing that you should be doing in your business today. It’s a great way to lower your cost of acquiring a lead, and you will definitely make more money because of the recommendation made from their friend.

I like referrals because it’s a little-to-no cost way of getting customers from free. There are actually a ton of ways that you can get referrals in your business – but I will reserve that conversion for another day.
